I listen to the universe. I read the words on my padded cell. I commune with the voices in my head, that tell me the stories I write. I dream of lands far away in time and space, of people unheard of and unknown, of ideas that have yet to manifest. I sit at table with the gods, and drink their nectar, and eat the ambrosia, and try to learn what is unlearnable, to know what is unkowable, to see what cannot be seen, to hear what cannot be heard, to feel what should not be felt, and to find an answer to all my questions.
